At vero eos et accusamus et iusto odio dignissimos ducimus qui blanditiis praesentium voluptatum deleniti atque corrupti quos dolores …

There is therefore now no condemnation for those in Christ…” Romans 8:1

The staggering truth of the two words “In Christ”  can never be exhausted in anyone’s life. For to be found in Christ is the highest gain anyone can achieve. To be found blameless, holy and spotless in Christ is the greatest joy of life. For even when I am poor, Christ is rich – therefore, I am rich! For when I am defeated, Christ is victorious – therefore I am victorious. When I am tired, beat up and ultimately killed, Christ has overcome sin and death – therefore, I will most certainly overcome sin and death.

The two words “In Christ” are an endless quarry that will yield an endless amount of riches for your soul if you would cling to it. For you never graduate from the Gospel of Grace. There is always more of Jesus to be had. We should never get tired of hearing the Gospel, for the good news is always good to hear. To contemplate deeply the reality that a dirty, broken, messed-up sinner like myself could be reconciled to a Holy, Righteous and Perfect God should never seize to amaze me.

“Union with Christ is . . . the central truth of the whole doctrine of salvation. . . . It is not simply a phase of the application of redemption; it underlies every aspect of redemption” – John Murray
